Summer Science Sensation - Mini Adventures
The mini adventures are for ages 3 years - 5th grade and are offered in several schools in the Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties. For information on when the World of WonderScience adventures meets at your school, flyers and are located in the foyer of your school or you may email us.
Incredible Insects and Spiders
Exploring the world through the eyes of an insect! Students will uncover fascinating facts while observing and identifying various insects and spiders. Students will meet some amazing tarantulas and the exotic blue death feigning beetles; perform experimental observations on an ant colony; and be amazed as they discover the magnificent metamorphosis, the process of how the insects change from one form of life into a completely different form of life. Students will build their own bug hut, for further exploration!
Bubble Bizarre
Discovering the science behind bubbles! Students will take the role of a Jr. Chemist working in a bubble factory. They will be challenged to develop a super bubble solution that will be used to perform several bubble experiments. Topping the session off by discovering what it is like to be inside a bubble!
A blast in the past!
Dinosaurs and Fossils
Students will learn about the mysterious reptiles by becoming a Jr. Paleontologist as they excavate and classify their fearfully-great lizard, the dinosaur; make fossil imprints and much more as they have a blast, discovering the past!
