Summer Science Sensation Mini Adventures
The mini adventures are for ages 3.5 years - 5th grade and are offered in several schools in the Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties. For information on when the World of WonderScience adventures meets at your school, flyers and registration forms are located in the foyer of your school or you may email us.
June's Adventure
Magnetic Magic
While discovering an invisible force, children will have some amazing magnetic fun; pulling iron out of cereal, creating a magnetic game, and performing several cool and exciting magnetic experiments!
July's Adventure
Botany: From Seed to Plant
As life begins in a seed, students will journey through the seed as they perform seed dissection to locate the baby plant. While discovering fascinating facts about some strange and unusual plants, each student will grow their own amazing plant that plays dead when touched and comes back to life before your eyes!
August's Adventure
Making the Connection
Students will have a better understanding of how electricity flows by making simple circuits. They will experiment with conductors and insulators as they investigate how electricity can flow through some materials. Can a lemon light up a light bulb?
